How to Apply Eye Make Up Like a Professional Supermodel

Some say the eyes are the window to your soul but in the fashion world, the eyes are the most striking features on the face and if you are applying make up, 50% of your make up should be focused on your eyes. In this make up lesson, we are going to learn how to apply eye make up flawlessly.

First of all you need a good concealer to hide your dark circles and wrinkles around your eyes. Start at the inner corner where skin tends to be darkest, then under the pupil and the third on the outer edge. I would recommended using a professional brush set instead of your fingers to pad the concealer because your fingers are dirty and not hygienic especially if you plan to do make up for others.

The secret of having eye make up that stays forever is using eye base. Always apply eye base to keep your eye shadow in place. On choosing the colors, I will recommend using heavier tone and darker shadows for night and lighter shades for office wear. You can also choose one or two neutral shades when applying eye make up. Compliment your hair color and dress when applying make up unless you are daring and want to look outstanding, then you can apply contrasting colors for your eyes to show your confidence.

Always remember to apply eyeliner. Follow with liner on bottom eyes, but only line from the middle of the eye out. I always share with my students during my make up class in Penang to apply eyeliner on the top and bottom for the more dramatic look.

Next once the eyeliner is dry, you can apply mascara. Mascara will curl your eyelashes to make it longer. Remember to curl both top and bottom lashes. After this step, highlight your brow with the eye brow pencil and if you want you can add fake eyelashes to maximize your beauty.

Finally, finish it up by applying some highlighter. I would recommend using white and gold colors and only highlighting the side of your eye. Blend with your brush to make it look outstanding and you are done with eye make up.
